Yorkshire Dales

Well, so much has happened and I am not sure if you would want to wade through it all.
At last I have a connection that is not dropping out. Just to put you in the picture, I have now attempted to post three blogs with photos that have all dropped out while being saved and were lost. I think I am beyond trying to do them again. Sorry.
Just briefly, we have seen lots of Yorkshire dales, castles. Roman ruins, beautiful lakes, (for Becky - glorious countryside Honeychurch), the Ironbridge, steam trains, food glorious food and more!
Today we set out from Windermere and headed for Haverthwaite where we caught the steam train to and from Lakeside. Lovely!
I have to report that David is now doing very well with our car. He only occasionally wipes the rain from the windscreen with the indicators.
We hit the rain about half way down to Bromyard in Worcestershire. Not a bother really as we hurtled down the M6. We are staying in a beautiful old Hotel - The Falcon - only about 500 years old. We are on the 3rd floor and the ceiling is only a few inches above David's head. He had to duck to get into our room.
I still managed to wander through two churchyards in the rain looking at gravestones and have decided they were too poor to have them anyway. Tomorrow I hit the record office in Worcester and David will be free to discover whatever.
